Join the Europe Talks Solidarity event for an overview of solidarity in the youth field. Moreover, they have a chance to better understand the EU’s common values, such as human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, and human rights.  

This three-day event is here for you to experience:

  • participating in debates focusing on different aspects and understanding of solidarity in 2024
  • learning about different aspects of solidarity from both experts and peers
  • new dimensions of thinking about solidarity and volunteering
  • exploration of the connection between solidarity, volunteering, and democracy

Eligibility for Europe Talks Solidarity

The conference invites around 70 participants from various fields with the main interest in the topic of solidarity. It is undeniably for you if you are working in the youth field of solidarity. You can come as a representation of the public sector, civil society, or private sector, ranging from ministries to bloggers. There is also space for you if you would like to represent media as a journalist or a content creator.

The only requirement is that you are from one of the following countries:

Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries: Austria, Belgium – DE, Belgium – FL, Belgium – FR, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye;
Partner Countries Neighbouring the EU: Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, KOSOVO * UN RESOLUTION, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Palestine, Russian Federation, Syria, Tunisia, Ukraine

Participation fee varies depending on your country, and you need to contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO), to find out your fee.

Accommodation and food are covered by the hosting NA or SALTO.

Travel reimbursement is optional depending on your NA or SALTO.

This event is organised by Slovak National Agency – NIVAM (National Agency) along with the European Solidarity Corps Resource Centre (SALTO Resource Centre) and, the SALTO Participation & Information Resource Centre (SALTO Resource Centre).
