Young Global Changers Recoupling Awards 2023
With the “Young Global Changers Recoupling Awards,” the Global Solutions Initiative aims to identify and recognize young changemakers from all over the world.
The awards are granted to leaders who contribute actively towards a better alignment – a “recoupling” – of economic prosperity with environmental sustainability and the needs and demands of societies, communities, and individuals.
Who should apply?
The Young Global Changers (YGC) are individuals with innovative ideas on how to make this world a better place. They must have developed a project or an initiative to turn these ideas into action.
The award seeks to recognize concrete practices and impactful youth-led projects that drive change on the ground, while also serving as examples and inspiration beyond their immediate impact.
To be successful, projects must be guided by a people-centric approach, that puts the needs and voices of their stakeholders, customers, workers, or communities at the center.
Projects must be beyond the idea phase and can include social businesses as well as nonprofit activities. The finalists present their projects at the Global Solutions Summit in Berlin.
Why should you apply for the Young Global Changers Recoupling Awards?
All eligible applicants will:
- Become members of the extended YGC network
- Receive invitations to GSI events, and workshops, contribute to ongoing discussions, and more.
Top 50 will:
- Become a 2023 Yong Global Changer
- Present your project on the Global Solutions website
- Connect with changemakers & experts
- Receive invitations to events and collaborative projects
Finalists will receive:
- Scholarship to participate in the Global Solutions Summit 2023!
- Exclusive networking opportunities
- A chance to present your project in front of a jury and an international audience
The three winners will receive:
- 1. Prize: 5.000 €
- 2. Prize: 2.000 €
- 3. Prize: 1.000 €
- The selected project will have a chance to receive mentoring, training, and further support to help improve the project or initiative.
