X-PITCH is the “X-Games” of startup competition, contestants go through the 15-sec, 60-sec and 3-min pitch all the way to win investment prizes.

X-PITCH is formerly known as Taiwan Elevator Pitch, contestants made their pitch in a 60-second elevator ride at TAIPEI 101, the landmark skyscraper in the country.

By upholding the elements of “Speed, Intensity, Challenge, and Fun” embodied in our past elevator pitch contests, training startup founders to pitch their innovative ideas concisely in a short time, X-PITCH will be held in different formats every year.
X-PITCH 2021 is the first-ever startup competition to use “autonomous vehicle” for a 60-second pitch, bringing an unprecedented experience to all participants.
In addition, the 15-second pitch on key numbers and achievements that has been popular abroad in recent years will be introduced to Asia for the first time.
Contest Theme: Tackling the New Normal
The COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted societies and industries. This “New Normal” forward has accelerated certain digital trends in healthcare, industrial processes, consumers and work, where some of these trends are likely to be permanently shifted.
The TECH FOR GOOD theme of X-PITCH 2021 will highlight the challenges in the New Normal, and make meaningful social impacts for the public good.
Participating teams should focus on applications and services that enable digital transformation around 5 major categories of the New Normal, with the massive defensible network effect, and backed by 5G, edge computing, AI, blockchain or next-generation computing technologies.
