Vanity Fair New Establishment Summit 2017
The V.F. Summit (now in its fourth year) was inspired by the Vanity Fair New Establishment list, Vanity Fair’s annual must-read ranking of those figures who are setting the global agenda and leading the Age of Innovation.
Since 1994, Vanity Fair has been tracking the New Establishment—a term coined by editor Graydon Carter to denote the influential and intersecting worlds of technology, media, entertainment, politics, and beyond, which are shifting and shaping the global conversation.
The New Establishment Summit was launched in 2014 and has featured speakers such as Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Priscilla Chan, Elon Musk, Lena Dunham, J. J. Abrams, John McEnroe, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Rand Paul.
The 2017 Summit will open on the evening of Monday, October 2, with an exclusive opening reception, followed by two full days of programming and concluded with an informal cocktail party on the evening of October 4.
Vanity Fair
With its mix of muscular journalism, stunning photography, in-depth reporting, and memorable profiles of the movers and shakers of the day, Vanity Fair has become the magazine world’s acknowledged arbiter of modern society, power, and personality. Since Graydon Carter became editor, in 1992, the magazine has won numerous awards, assembled a group of A-list contributors, and expanded its purview to cover politics, business, and world affairs.
Summit 2017
Vanity Fair’s fourth annual New Establishment Summit will take place October 2 to 4 at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, Calif. The Summit brings together titans of technology, media, business, entertainment, politics, and the arts for inspiring conversations on the issues and innovations shaping the future.
The Summit is by invitation only
