Join the UN Geneva Graduate Study Programme 2024 (GSP) under the name “Summit of the Future: Challenges and Opportunities” at the headquarters of the United Nations in Switzerland.
If you’re a graduate student willing to deepen your understanding of the United Nations and “International Geneva”, then we encourage you to join this exciting educational initiative. You will be able to join them in advancement toward a Sustainable Future.
The United Nations Office in Geneva is behind the 62nd Graduate Study Programme with efforts to advance Sustainable Development Goals, protect and promote human rights, encourage gender equality, eradicate poverty, and provide fast, effective humanitarian relief in emergencies.
Programme activities
- morning lectures by representatives of the United Nations, diplomats, and the civil sector
- visits to institutions
- group projects with presentations at the end of the Programme.
The intensity of the GSP will require your commitment of 8-10 hours a day over ten days.

Eligibility for UN Geneva Graduate Study Programme 2024
The Selection Committee of the Graduate Study Programme will consider extracurricular activities and achievements, spoken languages, and applicants’ motivation concerning equality during the process. The following criteria are crucial to apply:
- between 22 and 32 years of age
- enrolled graduate student
- without full-time employment
- fluency in both spoken and written English
Participation in the Programme is free of charge, however, all your expenses considering visa, travel, board, and living costs in Geneva are covered by you. The United Nations Office in Geneva cannot provide scholarships or arrange any kind of sponsorship.
Make sure to respond carefully during your application process as it is only available one time per person. You will be informed of the outcome by the 1st of April 2024.
