Are you a youth worker eager to enhance your skills in supporting the learning journeys of young people? The Erasmus+ Youth Programme invites youth workers from participating countries to join a comprehensive training course.

Tuning In: to learning in youth work

The 3-day program is filled with various methods and tools around learning, reflection, and formulating learning outcomes. This course emphasizes the significant learning potential in both local and international youth work and will equip you with the tools and strategies needed to document and support young people’s learning effectively.

It creates a space for you to: 

  • Recognize the learning value of youth work activities.
  • Experiment with tools to support and reflect on learning.
  • Cultivate self-reflection practices as a youth worker.
  • Develop skills to help young people document their learning outcomes within youth work activities.

Participation fee, travel, and accomodation expenses

The project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. Participation fees vary by country. 

The hosting NA (NA Norway) and partner NAs will organize and cover the costs for accommodation and food during the training period. 

Moreover, they will cover travel costs. Contact your NA or SALTO to confirm support for travel expenses, and gain information about the fee in your local NA.

Eligibility

If you are passionate about non-formal and informal learning in youth work and the recognition of its learning value, this course is perfect for you. A willingness to engage in self-reflection throughout the course is essential, as it is considered key to transformative learning experiences. When applying you need to meet the following criteria:

  • be at least 18 years old and able to communicate and learn in English.
  • be a paid and/or voluntary youth worker who works directly with young people regularly
  • facilitate the learning process of young people within youth work activities.
