Are you actively involved in the implementation of volunteering and solidarity projects? Would you like to learn how to create, measure, and enhance the impact of your initiatives? Do you want to learn how to design volunteering activities in a way that they ‘make a change’? Keep reading, to find out more about this training.
More about the training course
During this training, you will have a chance to delve into the concept of community impact. Furthermore, you will learn what it truly means to “make a change” and how to best design volunteering activities.
During the training course, you will:
- Understand your community impact by learning about the communities you are working in and identify the impact you wish to achieve.
- Create an action plan to enhance the community impact of your volunteering activities.
- Gain insights into effective tools and methods to create and measure impact.
- Be inspired by successful practices from the Netherlands and connect with a diverse group of like-minded peers from across Europe and beyond.
This event is organized by the Dutch National Agency for Erasmus+ Youth, Erasmus+ Sports, and the European Solidarity Corps, in collaboration with the SALTO European Solidarity Corps Resource Centre.
Who Should Apply?
This training welcomes participants with varying levels of experience, who are interested in the topic of community impact. However, the following individuals might benefit the most from the training:
- Individuals actively implementing volunteering and/or solidarity projects.
- Youth workers supporting young people in European Solidarity Corps activities.
- Volunteering coordinators and managers.
- Mentors, tutors, or coaches of European volunteers.
- Participants from the European Solidarity Corps Programme or Partner Countries.
Costs and Funding
The participating National Agencies of the European Solidarity Corps fund this project. However, the participation fee varies by country, so please contact your National Agency for details.
The hosting National Agency covers accommodation and food. Additionally, your local SALTO or National Agency may support travel costs.
