Are you passionate about fostering solidarity and positively impacting your community? If so, the upcoming seminar in Italy is an opportunity you don’t want to miss!
This event is organized by the Italian National Agency for Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps. Additionally, it invites participants from Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries and Partner Countries Neighbouring the EU to explore, showcase, and test methods and techniques to translate solidarity into practice.
What to expect during Solidarity in Practice
Over three full working days, you will have a chance to immerse yourself in a variety of workshops, discussions, and interactive activities designed to explore practical applications of solidarity. Moreover, these sessions will provide hands-on experience and valuable insights into effective solidarity practices.
The seminar aims for you to:
- Learn about practical Applications of Solidarity through good practices, tools, and methods for tackling solidarity.
- Get Inspired, and implement these practices in your contexts.
- Showcase your successful practices with a broader European audience.
- Explore new forms of civic engagement linked to solidarity.
- Network with organizations and educators from across Europe.
Who should attend?
This seminar is ideal for you if you are active or interested in activities related to solidarity and creating positive change. Furthermore, you should consider it if you are one of the following:
- A representative from volunteering organizations active in the European Solidarity Corps
- A Member of solidarity project teams within the European Solidarity Corps
- A volunteer seeking new ideas for supporting value-based learning
- A representative from youth organizations
- A Youth worker, social worker, trainer, teacher, educator, mentor, coach, project coordinator, tutor, adult educator, community manager, or municipality representative
Relevant information about the seminar
The event venue is fully accessible to people with disabilities, and the working language of the seminar will be held English.
The participation fee is covered by National Agencies (NAs) of the European Solidarity Corps/Erasmus+ Youth Programme.
The hosting NA will cover accommodation and food costs. Additionally, your NA or SALTO might reimburse travel expenses; please contact them for more details.
