Are you looking to improve your youth work? Would you like to learn how to do it using digital tools? The following training might be the one for you, as it aims to equip you with the necessary digital competencies to thrive in today’s increasingly online world.
ON/OFF – Online and Offline Tools in Youthwork 2024
NIVAM, the Slovak National Agency Erasmus+ Programme for the Field of Youth and Sport, will host an international training course to enhance digital skills in youth work. After the success of the first edition in 2022, this second instalment will take place in the Slovak Republic in November 2024.
Participants of ON/OFF – Online and Offline Tools in Youthwork 2024 will explore various digital tools. They will learn about their functionalities, how to use them, and how to integrate them effectively into both online and offline environments. The course will cover key areas, including:
Digital Tools Mastery: an introduction to and hands-on experience with tools like Kahoot, Mentimeter, Prezi, Google Suite, Canva, Adobe Express, Videoscribe, Miro, and more.
Synergy and Cross-functionality: learn how to combine different digital tools to enhance youth work and educational activities.
Gamification: explore the concept of gamification, including how to create “online escape rooms” and apply them in education and youth work.
Artificial Intelligence: the basics of AI tools available to the public, such as image and text generation, voice generation, and prompt engineering.
Digital Youth Work: a comprehensive overview of digital youth work, its significance, and key methodologies.
Eligibility
This opportunity is ideal for Youth workers, Youth leaders, Youth project managers, and Educators/teachers. Applicants need to be from Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries, or Partner Countries neighbouring the EU, that are looking to:
- enhance their effectiveness in using digital tools for youth work or education.
- wish to deepen their understanding of the digital landscape and its relevance today.
- network with organizations across Europe that are also exploring and integrating digital tools in their work.
Costs and other details
- Participation Fee is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ Programme. Please contact your National Agency for specific details.
- Accommodation and Food are covered by the hosting National Agency
- Travel Reimbursement might be possible, please contact your National Agency to determine if your travel costs are covered.
