Next Founders: what the program is all about
Next Founders is one of the three programs run by NEXT Canada (a non-profit charity). Their goal is to help the new generation of entrepreneurs through mentorship, education, and access to funding.
Once in the program, you will be able to join multiple sessions of masters-level classes and workshops. They will provide you with the foundation to build your business as well as prepare you for its growth.
The session topics are as follows:
- Economics of Entrepreneurship
- Strategy & Innovation
- Entrepreneurial Finance
- Business, Government, and the Global Economy
- Machine Learning
- Market Research Data Collection and Analysis classes
- Data-Driven Decision Making
- Entrepreneurial Strategy
Eligibility for Next Founders 2024
This program is very inclusive and assesses each applicant based on potential, and the potential of the venture.
However, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- must be a Canadian citizen or founder of a business already incorporated in Canada
- availability to commit to all required Next Founders programming
Moreover, there is no investment or revenue threshold for your venture.

Should you have issues with travel funding, the organization offers help on a case-by-case basis.
Once you are accepted as a member of NEXT family you will be a part of its community. This means special alumni events for expanding your network of peers and entrepreneurs from other editions of the program.
