They’ve been showcasing inspiring images from around the world for more than a century. Now it’s your turn to inspire. Enter your most powerful photos for a chance to become the 2017 National Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year.
The 2017 National Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year contest is now accepting submissions.
They’re looking for spectacular pictures that tell the story of animals, lands, and environments around the world.
Categories
Submit your best photos to one of four categories: wildlife, landscapes, aerials, and underwater.
Prizes
- The grand-prize winner will receive $7,500.
- Their winning image will be published in an upcoming issue of National Geographic magazine and featured on the @NatGeo Instagram account.
- One first-place winner will be selected from each of the four categories. Each winner will receive $2,500.
