You will compete with talented students from around the world, gaining valuable insight into what it’s like to work with clients. And once you progress to the top of your national case competition, you’ll find yourself on an all-expenses-paid trip to beautiful Lisbon, Portugal for 2017 international final.

When you enter the KPMG International Case Competition, you’re starting an exciting journey: one filled with continuous learning, self-improvement and the opportunity to prove yourself. Once you’ve proven your abilities and showcased your talent, you’ll have the chance to receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the KPMG International Case Competition final.
The competition
You’ll be challenged and inspired to demonstrate your genuinely agile thinking and have the opportunity to explore the city, enjoy social events and network with peers and industry leaders. You’ll also, of course, have a shot at winning the international championship.
During each stage of the competition, your team will be given a detailed case study to consider – and the rest is up to you.
For each round, you and three teammates will have three hours to:
- Review the dossier you’ve been given
- Identify and analyse key business issues
- Develop a compelling set of recommendations
- Prepare an engaging presentation for the judges
When you emerge from your team headquarters, you will present your ideas to a panel of experienced KPMG firms’ partners and leaders. The judges will listen to your presentation and ask challenging questions, playing the role of the client.
You will be held to the same standards of excellence that we expect from KPMG professionals. And if you have the innovative and agile thinking our judges are looking for, you’ll advance through the next rounds of competition.
