Dates: March 17-18, 2023
Eligibility: you can apply as an individual or as a team. At least half of your team must consist of Bachelor’s or Master’s students, enrolled in university (October 2022 to March 2023) throughout the competition. Non-university students may work on the startup but will not be allowed to pitch the idea.
Jacobs Startup Competition 2023
The Jacobs Startup Competition 2023 is an international competition for student entrepreneurs from all over the world – organized entirely by students.
Every year, it welcomes teams from all over the world, gives them access to an extensive network of founders, mentors, and experts, and provides a platform to pitch their ideas to judges and investors, according to its slogan – dare to stand out!

- MENTORSHIP
JSC mentors are accomplished individuals who are familiar with the creation of new and successful ventures. They will supply you and your team with feedback and suppo,rt and you’ll have the chance to meet them in person to receive advice during your one-on-one workgroup sessions.
- NETWORK
You will be given the opportunity to meet upcoming and aspiring entrepreneurs from top universities around the world and exchange ideas to gain valuable insights for your venture. During “speed dating” sessions, coffee breaks, and other activities you will develop a network with leading professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors.
- RESOURCES
During the final event, the experts will teach the fundamental skills for venture-building, and we will also award the best ideas with generous prize money.
