The 2024 International Youth Math Challenge (IYMC) Qualification Round is now open for submissions from high school and university students.

This prestigious global competition invites high school and university students to put their math skills to the test and compete for amazing prizes, and international recognition.

IYMC aims to inspire young minds to explore the fascinating world of mathematics while offering them a platform to prove their knowledge and creativity. The competition is designed to be accessible to students of all backgrounds, encouraging a love for math and rewarding those who excel.

Participating gives you a chance to:

  • Win over 700 USD in total cash prizes, with awards for both Youth and Junior categories.
  • Gain an official certificate. Finalists can earn Bronze, Silver, or Gold Honours.

Eligibility Criteria

The competition is open to all high school and university students, regardless of grade or country.

However, you’ll need creativity, problem-solving skills, and a passion for mathematics. Moreover, you will need an internet connection to submit your solutions online.

Depending on your age (over 18 years or under 18 years) you will have to solve more problems to qualify for the next round.
