How to get started
Submit Your Idea
Fill out the application form to share your innovative conservation proposal. Be sure to explain how your idea tackles a pressing issue in nature conservation. Additionally, outline its feasibility and the potential impact it can have on woods and wildlife.
Participate in Workshops
If your idea is shortlisted, you’ll advance to the next stage, where you can join one of 18 online workshops. Here, you’ll refine your proposal, enhance your pitch, and build your confidence. These sessions also connect you with like-minded individuals and expert mentors who will guide you along the way.
Create a Video Pitch
Record a video pitch to present your project. Focus on showcasing the value and creativity of your idea. If you feel uneasy about being on camera, don’t worry! The strength of your ideas is the priority, and the team will help you prepare to shine in this stage.
Pitch at the Final Event
Step into the spotlight as one of six finalists and pitch your project in person to a panel of celebrity judges. They’ll celebrate your hard work and allocate funding from the £20,000 prize pool. Depending on your project’s needs, you could secure between £2,000 and £6,000 to bring your idea to life.
Projects will be judged on four key criteria:
- Innovation: How creative and unique is your idea?
