German Search Marketing Award 2019
The German Search Marketing Award, SEMY, brings together the best of the best in the industry to honour outstanding achievements in the categories SEO/Content Marketing Campaign and SEA Campaign.
The next edition of the SEMY Awards is in the making and big changes are coming our way!
This year the SEMYs will be awarded in two categories – SEO/Content Marketing Campaign and SEA Campaign – including a big showdown on the SMX Munich main stage.
The nominees will have the chance to present their achievements to the search industry.
Categories and submission
All categories refer to „classic“ search engines like e.g. Google, but also to further search engines like e.g. Amazon!
Best SEO/Content Marketing Campaign
Innovative SEO/content marketing campaign from 2018, which achieved excellent and sustainable results.
Submission requirements:
- Filling in the submission form
- The organic results were optimized with internal and/or external resources, incl. agencies and/or consultants
- Principal judging criteria are creativity in implementation (content format, subject- matter and presentation), innovation and ROI (e.g. social interaction, links, traffic, etc.)
- The campaign must have been created or published between 01/01/2018 and 31/12/2018
- If the campaign is not finished at submission date, final numbers can be handed in until 18th January 2019
- Please be aware that providing the jury with additional materials like ppts, videos, pictures, graphics, flyers, texts etc. will increase your chances to win the award, as individual strengths can be emphasized. The additional material can be uploaded within the submission form.
Best SEA Campaign
Innovative SEA campaign from 2018, which achieved excellent and sustainable results.
Submission requirements:
- Filling in the submission form
- The SEA results were optimized with internal and/or external resources, incl. agencies and/or consultants
- This category targets large-scale paid search campaigns (text ads, shopping campaigns or RLSAs) over one or more platforms, where there is a positive ROI
- The campaign must have been created or published between 01/01/2018 and 31/12/2018
- If the campaign is not finished at submission date, final numbers can be handed in until 18th January 2019
- Please be aware that providing the jury with additional materials like ppts, videos, pictures, graphics, flyers, texts etc. will increase your chances to win the award, as individual strengths can be emphasized. The additional material can be uploaded within the submission form.
The 3 nominees in both categories will present their campaigns on April 2nd 2019 on the SMX Munich main stage.
