Join Generation Connect Young Leadership Programme (GCYLP) and gain support in expanding your existing project or making your new idea real.
GCYLP and Huwaei created an ITU programme for young visionaries from around the world. The initiative aims to support innovative and feasible community-driven projects. Moreover, the programme strives to create a more inclusive and empowered digital future.
Generation Connect Young Leadership Programme is here for you to offer guidance, training, and financial support. In addition, it aims to assist you in implementing your digital development project.
The program includes:
- year-long ITU and Huwaei lead virtual mentorship and leadership sessions
- participation in an in-person global training week
- funding for the project, where all fellows receive an initial USD 5000 grant towards the implementation of the project of their choice
- extra USD 5000 grant for the most impactful projects at the end of the year
Proposed projects need to use digital technologies to create, improve, or transform aspects of society, such as communication, education, and healthcare.
Additionally, there is a wide range of issues to cover, applicants can be creative with their solutions. However, projects connected to one of the ITU 2023-2025 Regional Initiatives will be advantageous in the selection process.
