Dive into the Digital Dimension of Youth Work

The Portuguese National Agency for Erasmus+ Youth/Sports and European Solidarity Corps is hosting this training course, specifically designed for youth workers from Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries, with a focus on those from Southern Europe.

It delves deep into the digital dimension of youth work and enhances the competencies of youth workers in this region, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet the demands of a digitalized world.

This training provides a unique opportunity to explore how to effectively integrate digital tools and platforms into youth work practices. By participating, you will join a movement that recognizes and strengthens Digital Youth Work across Europe.

This opportunity will give you a chance to:

  • Reflect on the current state of digital youth work in Southern Europe, and identify areas where improvements are needed.
  • Gain new knowledge and enhance your skills in using technology, IT tools, and digital and social media in youth work.
  • Learn how to design, implement, and evaluate youth work activities that incorporate digital media and technology.
  • Engage with other youth workers from across Europe, sharing best practices and learning from each other’s experiences.

Moreover, during the course, you’ll experience the use of:

  • Google Docs (collaborative works, online library of resources)
  • Canva
  • Sli.do
  • Mentimeter
  • Kahoot (online quiz)
  • Padlet (online collaboration including interactive geographical maps, blogging, and presentations).

Logistics and Costs

  • Participation Fee varies depending on your country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre to learn more.
  • Accommodation and Food are covered by the hosting National Agency, with accommodation provided in single rooms.
  • Travel Reimbursement may be available depending on your country. Reach out to your National Agency or SALTO for details.
