Are you looking to engage in meaningful discussions and learn the art of policy shaping? Join the Prague European Summit’s Future European Leaders Forum, and influence the future of EU affairs.
The Future European Leaders Forum 2024 provides a distinctive platform for politically-minded young professionals and academics, brimming with workshops, simulations, and networking sessions. This setup enables participants to interact directly with politicians, decision-makers, and thought leaders, fostering invaluable connections and insights.
Through collaborative policy writing workshops and skills training, you can gain practical experience in policy-making and enhance your negotiation and communication abilities.
Eligibility Requirements for the Future European Leaders Forum 2024
Aspiring future leaders are invited to apply for this event, provided they are between 21 and 30 years of age, however, applicants up to 35 will also be considered. All applicants must also be:
- active in politics, state affairs, business, media, arts, sports, science, a non-profit
- interest in EU affairs, its political and economic development, security, or any other fields of relevance to European affairs
- fluent in English
- willing to participate in any other related activities
Application details
To apply for the Future European Leaders Forum 2024 you need to send an email to mailto:felf@praguesummit.eu that will include the following:
- a CV with your date of birth and full contact details
- a short essay (maximum of 150 words) with the main topic: How would you tackle the challenges that the EU currently faces? You need to choose one of the following as the main topic for your essay:
- How can global support for Ukraine be sustained and strengthened in the face of geopolitical challenges? (BLOCK I: Europe’s Continuous Support for Ukraine)
- What are achievable energy policy goals for the future of the EU? (BLOCK II: European Competitiveness and Prosperity)
- How can the EU advance the enlargement process and how can enlargement bolster democratization in candidate countries? (BLOCK III: Engaged and Secure Europe in a New Geopolitical Reality)
When writing your essay, remember that you will be expected to build on it during preparatory workshops and on-the-spot policy sessions. You will be asked to work with other participants to create a real policy memo, and then present it to relevant stakeholders at the Prague European Summit panel.
