Global Brain Health Institute provides innovative training, networking, and support in the hopes of promoting healthier and more inclusive societies.
Atlantic Fellows for Equity in Brain Health
The 12-month full-time residential fellowship takes place at the University of California, San Francisco (USA) or Trinity College Dublin (Ireland). As a fellow, you will be able to choose the site for your fellowship year.
During the fellowship, you will learn about brain health, dementia, and health equity, including neuroscience, health economics, social determinants of health, and health policy. You will also engage in experiential learning, and project work, and develop skills in funding acquisition and public speaking.
As a fellow, you will join a lifelong community of those who share your experience and expertise. Additionally, you will have a chance to receive a pilot award of up to $25,000 to start projects in your home communities.

Eligibility Criteria
The fellowship welcomes applicants from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds. This means physicians, researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs as well as artists are welcome to apply. However, applicants must be ready to advance meaningful and impactful work in their respective fields.
Moreover, applicants need to meet the following criteria to apply:
- Be able to commit to 12 months of education in residence, full-time, in San Francisco (USA) or Dublin (Ireland)
- Be proficient in English
- Have a successful completion of field-specific terminal degree and associated training as applicable
- Be willing to travel internationally as required
