ACT – Arts for Community Transformation
With support from Erasmus+, Associazione LINK organizes this program. Founded in 2003, Associazione LINK is a youth organization that fosters non-formal education, mobility, and intercultural exchange. The ACT project, meanwhile, builds on LINK’s recent initiatives to promote mental health, sustainability, social equality, and the educational importance of community spaces.
Whether you’re a seasoned youth worker or an emerging artist, this program will equip you with the resources and inspiration to make a tangible difference
During the program, you will:
- Develop adaptable frameworks for performing arts that can be utilized in libraries, cultural hubs, youth centers, and social spaces.
- Create innovative tools for workshops promoting teamwork, reflection, energization, and trust-building.
- Build a comprehensive toolbox of resources for training, enhancing the participant’s impact within their communities.
- Explore music, theatre, movement, and sound to foster social inclusion in community spaces.
ACT – Arts for Community Transformation training is fully funded by the Erasmus+ program.
Eligibility Criteria
This opportunity is perfect for youth workers, trainers, youth leaders, educators, musicians, theatre makers, and dancers.
If you’d like to apply, make sure you meet the following criteria:
- Have at least one year of experience facilitating workshops involving music, theater, or dance.
- Are actively involved in a community space, such as a library, social center, or cultural center.
- Have a desire to apply learning in your local hubs to support community growth.
- Speak English fluently to ensure effective participation in the training.
- Are affiliated with an organization focused on community development.
