Women account for about 25% of the workforce in the aerospace industry worldwide.
Zonta International offers the Amelia Earhart Fellowships to ensure women have the same opportunities and get a fair shot at leadership roles alongside men.
Why apply?
The US$10,000 Fellowship is awarded annually to up to 30 women pursuing Ph.D./doctoral degrees in aerospace engineering and space sciences.
It may be used at any university or college offering accredited post-graduate courses and degrees in these fields.
Amelia Earhart Fellows have become astronauts, aerospace engineers, astronomers, professors, geologists, business owners, heads of companies, and even Secretary of the US Air Force.
Empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy
The Amelia Earhart Fellowships focus on eliminating gender bias in aerospace engineering or space sciences.
