2. Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program at Stanford University

Eligibility: Citizens of all countries are encouraged to participate
You are eligible to apply to the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program if you are applying to enroll in any full-time graduate degree program at Stanford or if you plan on pursuing one of Stanford’s many joint- and dual- graduate degree options
You are eligible to apply to Knight-Hennessy Scholars if you apply during your final year of study for your first/bachelor’s degree or within four years of earning your first/bachelor’s degree

3. Vrije Universiteit Brussel PhD Scholarship

Start date: October 1, 2018
Eligibility: Master in Science, Industrial Sciences or Engineering with a specification related to Electronics and informatics with Dutch language proficiency level B2.
Location: Brussels, Belgium

You will assist in the organization and guidance of educational tasks of the department of Industrial Sciences (INDI) in the area of electronics and informatics for the Bachelor and Master programs in Industrial Sciences.

The PhD research scholarship offered by Vrije Universiteit Brussel will be combined with the position of graduate teaching assistant (category AAP).


4. DAAD Scholarship in Germany

Eligibility: Excellently-qualified graduates who have completed a first degree (Bachelor) Diploma or comparable academic degree) at the latest by the time they commence their scholarship-supported study programme.
Location: Germany

The Scholarship is designed for all Students that have completed their first degree in any discipline to study in any university of choice in Germany.

This scholarship programme offers you the opportunity to continue your academic education in Germany with a postgraduate course of study.


5. Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships

Eligibility:
 Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada, foreign citizens pursuing your first doctoral degree
Location: Selected university, Canada

Candidates must be nominated by a Canadian institution with a quota to host Vanier scholars

The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship (Vanier CGS) program helps Canadian institutions attract highly qualified doctoral students.

Valued at $50,000 per year for three years during doctoral studies, involved in the following areas of research: health research, natural sciences and/or engineering research and social sciences and humanities research.


6. Endeavour Leadership Program to study in Australia

Deadline: Applications will open in July/August
Eligibility: International students from the eligible countries

The Endeavour Leadership Program aims to enhance Australia’s reputation for excellence in international education through the continued internationalisation of the education, training and research sectors.

The Australian Government has announced a total of $118.9 million over four years for the ELP. Under the 2019 round, approximately $27 million in funding is available to support two-way mobility Leadership Activities.


7. Global Scientists and Engineers Program at Tokyo Institute of Technology

Eligibility: Applicants must not hold Japanese nationality, and are required to possess a College Student (ryugaku) Visa or intend to acquire one by the time of enrollment. Applicants should be at least 18 years old by March 31, 2019. Applicants must have completed or be expecting to complete a 12-year regular education outside of Japan by March 2019. Applicants must have obtained one of the following minimum scores in English proficiency tests: TOEIC Listening & Reading:700; TOEFL-iBT:78; TOEFL-PBT:520; IELTS Academic Module:6.0
Location: Tokyo, Japan

The Global Scientists and Engineers Program (GSEP) is the first international Bachelor of Engineering degree program of Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech).

In this program, all of the subjects are taught in English, allowing qualified international students who have little or no proficiency in the Japanese language to pursue an engineering bachelor’s degree in Tokyo Tech.
