Are you an entrepreneurially-minded student with a strong commitment to improving our society? Moreover, are you a team player interested in learning to think and act entrepreneurially?
Social Entrepreneurship Akademie invites you to join their week-long summer program. The Global Entrepreneurship Summer School (GESS) program is for international students willing to immerse in “Impact Entrepreneurship”.
With this year’s theme “Drive change through a global community – be part of the solution” GESS will take place in 4 locations – Shanghai, Cape Town, Munich, and Querétaro – Mexico.
During GESS you will join an international and interdisciplinary team and have a chance to
- learn from experienced entrepreneurs and experts
- experience diversity
- create lifelong connections
- learn how to develop a sustainable business model to solve social and environmental issues
Eligibility for the Global Entrepreneurship Summer School
Social Entrepreneurship Akademie seeks students aged between 18-35 years. All levels of academic progress are eligible, spanning across all fields of academia.
To apply you must:
- be enrolled at a university at some point during the calendar year the GESS takes place
- commit fully for the duration of the program
- be proficient in English
- be motivated to find answers to the most challenging problems of global society
Any involvement in student initiatives or community efforts will work in your favor. As well as the commitment to peace, team player qualities, and open-mindedness.

Querétaro, Mexico: 22 to 28 July
Shanghai, China: 24 to 30 August
Cape Town, South Africa: 1 to 7 September
Munich, Germany: 12 to 18 September

All participants need to pay a non-refundable tuition fee of €199-. Additionally, participants are expected to cover their travel expenses. However, the program organizers will provide accommodation and meals throughout the program.
