3. Bush Fellowship

Eligibility: applicants must be 24 years or older, living in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota or one of the 23 Native nations that share the same geography for more than a year and focused on leadership growth without pursuing academic degrees.
Location: the United States
The Bush Fellowship program supports accomplished leaders with extraordinary track records who are ready to take their efforts to the next level and have an even greater impact with and across communities.
Up to 24 Bush Fellows are selected each year for a two-year program and receive a grant of $100,000 to fund their leadership plan. Fellowships can last anywhere between 12 and 24 months.
4. Science by Women Fellowship

Feodor Lynen Research Fellowship enables researchers with above-average qualifications from Germany at all career levels and in all disciplines to conduct research with members of the Humboldt Network around the world. Postdocs may apply for a 6- to 24-month fellowship, and experienced researchers for a 6- to 18-month fellowship that can be split into up to three stays over three years.

6. Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Research Fellowship

Eligibility: highly qualified postdocs from Germany
Location: Japan
The JSPS Research Fellowship enables you to conduct your research in Japan in cooperation with a qualified academic host of your choice.
There are two separate funding lines: short-term postdoctoral fellowships, which sponsor 1–12 months, and standard postdoctoral fellowships for research stays lasting from 12–24 months.
The monthly fellowship amount paid by JSPS is currently 362,000 yen. Fellows conducting a stay of three months or more will receive a one-off settling-in allowance of 200,000 yen. Travel and insurance allowances may also be paid.
7. Rosa Luxemburg Foundation International PhD Scholarship

8. Georg Forster Research Fellowship

Location: Germany
The Georg Forster Research Fellowship enables you to conduct your research at various stages of your career in collaboration with a host at a German research institution of your choice.
With this fellowship, the Humboldt Foundation acknowledges the critical role of researchers from these countries in achieving the UN’s 17 sustainable development goals.

9. NSTC Research Fellowships

The NSTC (Taiwan) Research Fellowship supports you as a highly qualified postdoc or experienced researcher from Germany in conducting your research in Taiwan – regardless of discipline.
