Since our last publication, the global economic outlook did not change much. The labour markets worldwide are expected to remain tough this and next year as fewer jobs are forecast to occur amid economies are slowing. So here is another portion of the best international business student competitions that will help you stand out from the pack in the world of business.

Muzinda Hub is launching its inaugural Business Plan Competition targeted at African tech entrepreneurs with a business idea that rests on a web or app-based solution.
3. The Global Student Challenge 2016

The Cool Connection is a highly advanced business simulation that is used internationally by the world’s leading companies as a training tool. The Challenge engages participants in making strategic and tactical decisions to realize a turn-around at a manufacturing company of personal care products called The Cool Connection.
4. KPMG International Case Competition 2016

5. Vlerick M&A Challenge 2015

M&A is one of the most complex decisions a company can make. In this challenge, you will take on a real-life case study. And like any M&A deal, you will be working within time constraints. So if you get through, you’ll have to show us your excellent project and time management skills. Cracking the case will also require a good combination of sound academic knowledge and common sense.
6. The Business for a Better World Case Competition 2016

The Business for a Better World Case Competition 2016, an international contest now into its third year, is a partnership between Corporate Knights, the company for clean capitalism, and the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto. With a prize pool in 2015/2016 of $10,000, the final round of this MBA competition will see three top teams present their case analysis in front of a live panel of high-profile judges in Davos, Switzerland, coinciding with the World Economic Forum in January.
7. Eco-generation Environmental Leadership Competition 2016

10. Valeo Innovation Challenge 2016

Prize: €100,000

The Valeo Innovation Challenge 2016 is an international contest that invites students from around the world to innovate to make the car of 2030 and the way it’s used more intelligent, greener, more intuitive and more fun.
11. Microsoft Imagine Cup Global Students Competition 2016

The Global Business Case Competition 2016 (GBCC) is a leading international annual case competition hosted by the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business that brings together undergraduate students from the United States and 11 other countries to compete in a fast-paced and challenging business case study to Seattle. Starting in 1999 as the Global Business Challenge, this competition is one of the oldest of its kind.
