JA Europe Enterprise Challenge 2020
For the first time ever, the JA Europe Enterprise Challenge 2020 will bring together student Start-Ups for a two-day virtual competition hosted by JA Greece.
The competition is JA Europe’s annual celebration of the achievements of its Start-Up Programme for students and their companies from across Europe. At this event, the winning companies from all participating countries will proudly present their businesses and key takeaways from their experiences.
Why participate?
In the last academic year, more than 17,000 students from 500+ higher education institutions across Europe have participated in the Start Up Programme.
Supporting European goals of improving youth employability and the start-up ecosystem, the programme fosters key competences to ensure that they are prepared for success after university.
Moving from ideas to action, students gain crucial insights into self-employment, business creation, risk-taking and coping with adversity with the support of specially trained teachers and mentorship from business volunteers.
The countless alumni who continue to grow their innovations and ideas, turning them into sustainable businesses after completing the programme show the long-term success of the programme.
Do you have a viable and sustainable business idea with real investment potential?
The Start Up programme, that directs the participants to the Enterprise Challenge, focuses on developing viable and sustainable business ideas with real investment potential—it goes beyond the basics of doing business and challenges participants to find a truly marketable product or service.
The jury will be constituted of 6 members. The main aspect judges should look at is the value (financial, social or cultural) each start-up is creating and its potential to grow.
The jury will choose the winners based on the industry specialization, expertise and experience of the members. As the jury members are different every year, it is impossible to rely on a “winning pattern”.
